Detailed Itinerary

After a delicious breakfast, meet our company representative for pick up and also briefing about this East African safari. Leave your hotel for Kigali excursion which encompasses a tour to Kigali genocide memorial and visit to Kimironko market- the biggest market in Kigali capital. You will have a road transfer to Volcanoes National Park 2-3 hours’ drive and this will be after having lunch.

Enjoy a hefty morning breakfast and after, report to Kinigi to get briefed about golden monkey tracking regulations. The park official will allocate guides to lead you on actual search for golden monkeys –endemic species to the Virunga region. The trek with golden monkeys will run for 2-5 hours but includes 1 hour for you observe how these apes behave and take note these are shy species. They are naturally jumpy and when taking pictures, you must be keen enough to capture the best shot as they jump from tree to tree.

After interaction with golden monkeys, get back and lunch will be provided. Next visit will be to Iby’Iwacu Village –discover more about the distinct cultures and traditions of Rwandese, support their livelihood based initiatives and more.

Pick up early morning and you will be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Today’s journey includes border crossing via Katuna or Cyanika border and you will connect to the pre-booked accommodation.

After breakfast, gather at the park offices for briefing and later, venture into the rainforest to look out for the mountain gorillas. Bwindi gorilla trek will begin at 8:00am, taking between 2 and 6 hours which covers an hour of observing how these primates behave. You will walk back and at the lodge, get enough time to rest before your guide leads you to the Batwa community for a cultural experience.

Have a hot cup of tea/coffee and after, you will have a road transfer to Queen Elizabeth Park. Driving via Ishasha area means you will have a short game drive, and along this sector, expect to encounter cape buffaloes, tree climbing lions, Uganda Kobs and birds.

Following an early morning breakfast, set off for your sunrise big game viewing through Kasenyi plains. The Kasenyi game drive allows you to spend 2-3 hours while observing huge herds of elephants, buffaloes, lions, spotted hyenas, kobs, bushbucks and waterbucks, etc.

Get back to the lodge to freshen up and in the afternoon, spend another 2-3 hours exploring the Kazinga channel wonders on a guided boat cruise. This is a perfect opportunity to see hippos, crocodiles and birds, then you will have great moment at the lodge.

A tasty cup of tea/coffee be enjoyed early morning and after, pay a visit to Kibale National Park. Enjoy a scenic road trip characterized by stunning views of the Rwenzori Mountains and Crater Lakes. Arrive early and check in at the lodge, enjoy lunch then you will have the best of chimpanzee trekking experience. Kibale alone protects over 1500 chimpanzees plus additional 12 primates and most of them can also be spotted in the process.

Depart from Kibale National Park for Entebbe about 5-6 hours’ drive. At Entebbe airport, take a connecting flight to Nairobi, Kenya. Pick up at the airport by the Kenyan guide and you will be transferred to the pre-booked hotel for relaxation.

After breakfast, leave Nairobi for Amboseli National Park. Arrive early and you will be cleared by the park authorities then proceed to the safari lodge for relaxation and also to have lunch. At Amboseli, get the best of the breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro Volcano. Amboseli is popular for its huge concentration of wildlife including zebras, giraffes, cheetahs, wild dogs, elephants, lions, and birds. In the afternoon, embark on a guided game drive through the park then you will get back to have dinner and a night stay.

At leisure, enjoy breakfast and after, you will set off for Lake Nakuru National Park Kenya. This park lies in the Southern end of Kenya along the rift valley area. Get to the park early, check in at the lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, you will have a memorable game drive, a remarkable opportunity to encounter wildlife such as waterbucks, rhinos, buffaloes, elephants, lions, and giraffes.

Get up early morning to enjoy your cup of tea or coffee and after, your safari expert will pick you up. Drive off from Lake Nakuru NP to Maasai Mara Reserve, and on arrival, check in at the lodge.
